Foreign diplomats and the media can see the humanitarian support in Tigray, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that any foreign diplomats and the media can be present to see the humanitarian assistance being provided by the Federal Government of Ethiopia as long as they have no hidden agenda.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Ambassador Dina Mufti, said in a statement on Monday that any foreign ambassadors and members of the diplomatic community as well as members of the media can attend the Tigray Regional State's humanitarian assistance.

According to Ambassador Dina: Government-funded food and various humanitarian assistance are housed in Mekele. Partial delivery has begun. However, due to the lack of observing the actual situation by arriving at the place some medias and individuals are disseminating false information.

"The media and various bodies will be present to see the support being provided in Tigray," said Ambassador Dina. He said the media and various bodies should be made aware of the situation.

Accordingly, any foreign ambassadors and members of the diplomatic community as well as the media will be able to enter the Tigray region where they need cooperation with the security forces and see the government's support.

Ambassador Dina said that there are some who are going on a secret mission not only to see what is going on in Tigray State. He also said that those who carry things that fail and fail will not perish.
He recalled that there were forces that had previously predicted that the law enforcement campaign would soon spread to other parts of the country.
