The Oromia Regional State has announced that it will celebrate Adwan Victory Day in all zones and cities of the state

Preparations are underway to celebrate the 125th Adwa Victory Day in the state, Oromia National Regional State announced.

Addisu Arega, Social Sector Coordinator of the Oromia Regional State, said Adwa is the pride of all black people. He said preparations are underway to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the great victory of Adwa throughout Oromia.
The event will be held under the motto "Adwa is the symbol of national unity".

He also announced on his social media page that there will be various art exhibitions commemorating the fathers of the heroes of the Adwa campaign.
Addisu said the event will be celebrated by holding talks that will strengthen our brotherhood and unity, fundraising for the Renaissance Dam and various public performances.

He said the 125th anniversary of Adwa victory will be celebrated in all zones and cities of the state. He said the celebration will be celebrated at Meskel Square at the state level.
