Fire broke out in a warehouse containing food and clothing for IDPs.

A warehouse containing food and clothing for Internally Displaced People (IDPs) located in #Chagni town of #Awi zone administration was burned down. The facility is currently hosting IDPs who were displaced by violence in Benishangul Gumuz regional state.

The head of the peace and security bureau of Chagni town, Masresha Yetwale, said that the cloth and grain stored in the store were completely destroyed.
The amount of damage as well as cause of fire is under investigation and is yet to be announced.
