Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Dina Mufti said the Sudanese military is working for the benefit of third parties against the interests of the Sudanese people.

He gave a weekly statement focusing on current developments in politics, economics and civic diplomacy.
In the field of political diplomacy, the African Union Peace Council's virtual discussion, US Government Senator Chris Cuns cited Ethiopia's stay and other events as examples.

During his stay in the United States, Senator Kuns Will held talks with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Demeke Mekonnen, and the head of the Human Rights Commission.

During the meeting, he said they successfully discussed the origins and current situation of law enforcement in northern Ethiopia, the provision of human rights and humanitarian assistance, Ethiopian-Sudanese border and the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

He also mentioned investment and business activities in the United States, Canada and Bahrain in terms of economic diplomacy.

Regarding the tripartite talks on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, the leader of the talks is in the process of moving from South Africa to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

He said, Sudan which is changing its position on the issue of the Grand Renaissance Dam, will raise two questions on the quality of the dam and the exchange of information.

In this regard, he said Ethiopia has ensured the quality of the Renaissance Dam and is ready to exchange information.
Despite this, they point out that the Sudanese military is opposed to the interests of the Sudanese people.
According to Sudanese officials, the dam is of great benefit to the people of Sudan, especially those who are flooded with silt. Nevertheless, ENA reported that they would change their position.
