Somalia’s political leaders have agreed to conclude elections of the two Houses of Parliament and the President within 60 days

BREAKING: #Somalia’s political leaders have agreed to conclude elections of the two Houses of Parliament and the President within 60 days. The leaders signed the revised agreement on Thursday.

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble pledged to hold fair and transparent elections.

PM Roble has received huge applause after he announced the agreement. He will also be playing a lead role in observing election of #Somaliland MPs, Gedo reconciliation and chairing a 9-member election security committee which includes federal, state & #AMISOM police commanders.
