The European Union (EU) is set to provide 26.5 million euro for the establishment of financial institutions in rural Ethiopia





The European Union (EU) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) have pledged 26.5 million euro to help finance financial institutions in rural Ethiopia.





The funding is said to be aimed at saving people from unemployment and disrupting their livelihoods, especially in rural areas of the country.





The European Union (EU) said in a statement that the European Union (EU) is committed to creating job opportunities for Ethiopia's economic growth, which is currently challenging the country's economy.
