2. General Mission





  • Deliver high level motion graphics and animation works. 
  • Mange directing, filming, and photographing works for the production of documentary films, commercials and documentation purpose.
  • Plan, propose, design, and implement appropriate tools, techniques, software, equipment, skills, and manpower so as to modernize the in-house studio.
  • Manage cross functional activities to enhance the brand and reputation of the company.
  • Consult the department director and section manager on audiovisual maters. 




3. Key Responsibilities





  • Produce high level motion graphics and animation works.
  • Edit the recorded footages as necessary with various editing software
  • Coaching audio-visual specialist and technician
  • Manage and cultivate the creative productions and follow up process of commercial productions, programs, documentaries, and announcement activities.
  • Cross check Arrangement of sound systems for events
  • Work closely with media relation and agency management section as well as other user unites to produce Commercials, programs, announcements, and documentaries.
  • Manage creative motion graphics works from concept to completion.
  • Ensure the visual and audio communication and brand standards are met
  • Ensure the production is delivered with high qualities 
  • Implement the strategy of division in line with company strategy.
  • Manage the delivery of creative commercials, programs, documentaries, and artworks
  • Align and make sure that all productions are conveyed in line with other communication platforms.
  • Engage with industry experts and other stakeholders to learn best practices and benchmarks.
  • Analyze marketing briefs, productions, and audience/media.
  • Build a strong and consistent brand image that allows customers to engage with ethio telecom on a more personal and emotional level.
  • Attending communication Briefing for in-house production.
  • Prepare specification for the purchase of different audio-visual software and materials as well as participate on the evaluation of purchasing activities
  • Initiate Purchase request for Audio-visual materials.




4. Minimum Qualification





Master’s degree in Language and Literature, Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Cinematography,





Computer Science or Graphics Design fields of study with At least 6 years of experience in TV & Radio program, commercial or documentary film production activities (script writing, Editing, Directing, Narrating and video recording). Other work experiences in any communication fields can be considered if only the applicant has high level of proven skills, talents, and experiences in Audio visual activities (production, narrating, directing, video editing and designing of communication materials.)





N.B: A.  Priority will be given for Animation and/ Motion graphics editors/designers.





         B. Priority will be given for technical fields with experience specific to Audiovisual activities.





         C.  Additional Certificates in media production





                                     OR





BA/BSc degree in Language and Literature, Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Cinematography, Computer Science or Graphics Design fields of study with At least 7 years of experience in TV & Radio program, commercial or documentary film production activities (script writing, Editing, directing, Narrating and video recording). Other work experiences in any communication fields can be considered if only the applicant has high level of proven skills, talents and experiences in Audio visual activities.
