The main suspect in the assassination of General Seare Mekonnen and Major General Gezai Abera is sentenced to life in prison

The Federal High Court Lideta Branch 3rd Constitutional and Anti-terrorism Bench has today sentenced Private Mesafint Tigabu, the body guard of the late General Seare Mekonnen, to life in prison.
The court passed a guilty verdict despite him pleading not guilty and presenting three witnesses in his defense.
