Ethiopia and Turkey signed four agreements yesterday
The bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Turkey took place on the 125th anniversary of the signing of four agreements by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
As a result, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the water sector, the implementation of the Military Framework Agreement on Financial Assistance and the Military Finance Cooperation Agreement were signed.
In the middle of the visit, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed laid a wreath at Anitkabir Cemetery.
"Ethiopia's relationship with Turkey is based on mutual respect and trust and is suitable for two ancient civilizations with rich culture and traditions," he said.
After a warm welcome by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Presidential Palace, the two leaders held bilateral talks with their delegations.
According to information obtained from the Prime Minister's Office, both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation.
